Prairie Sampler Workdays at Thorn Creek Woods are a great way to volunteer.

Get down and dirty and help master gardeners care for our Prairie Sampler at monthly workdays.  The small prairie in front of nature center that the late Jim Marzuki nurtured, needs your help with weeding, pulling tall goldenrod, trimming out woody plants, then planting and watering the newly acquired plants.  Bring your own gloves, hand clippers, kneelers if you like.  Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots. Refreshments will be provided.
