A family program to celebrate the spring wildflowers, called ephemerals, that thrive in shady Thorn Creek Woods. Lots of fun for everyone including a wildflower photo display, exhibits, games, crafts, refreshments, and an Earth Day Raffle. Join us for a hike at 2 p.m. to discover which species are in bloom, learn their names and examine their physical appearance. Program is sponsored by the Jim Marzuki Fund for Public Programming. Guided hike on natural surface trails across uneven terrain.
