Earth Day at Thorn Creek Woods celebrates the 17-year Cicada. Learn about this cryptic insect that spends 17 years of its life underground!  Find out about the natural history of cicadas and the impact of their eruption this spring. A fun family program that includes, cicada exhibits, slide show and recordings, origami cicada craft, games, cicada recipes, Earth Day Raffle and refreshments.
